Your mission

In this role, you will be the first friendly face our guests meet and the person who helps set the tone for their stay. Whether guiding them through our self-check-in, sharing local tips or connecting them to fellow travelers. You will help turn a good trip into an unforgettable one.
 
Accountabilities:
  • Customer greeting: Greet every guest with warmth, friendliness and authenticity.
  • Support their check-in, by assisting where necessary, problem-solving, answering queries and maintaining friendly conversation, offering items to enhance their stay such as breakfast or late checkout.
  • Curate the vibe of the hostel: Create a relaxed and social atmosphere where guests feel encouraged and supported to connect with fellow travelers.
  • Share local knowledge: Offer local tips, recommendations on restaurants, culture, nightlife and hidden gems in the city, even helping to book experiences or events.
  • Upsell: Spot opportunities to offer late check-outs, encourage customers to avail of the bar or food and beverage offerings, inform them of in-house events to enhance the guest’s stay.
  • Problem-solving: Respond to issues or complaints with empathy and genuine helpfulness – even if things go wrong, ensure the guest is communicated with professionally.
  • To use hospitality skills to read the guest as you approach them and tailor your responses to their individual needs and wants.
  • Assist with guest reviews – we love getting the best reviews and we need you to help us go the extra mile !
  • Collaborate with other departments: Stay connected to the teams in the bar, kitchen, housekeeping etc. to ensure the smooth running of operations.
  • Be part of the guest experience: Support events, have meaningful conversations and help the guests feel part of something bigger!
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • A confident sociable communicator who thrives in social and fast-paced environments.
  • Experience in hospitality, tourism or events is a plus.
  • Championing the guest experience making sure that our guests have a memorable experience from check in to check out. Having a genuine passion for creating unforgettable guest journey
  • Passionate about travel, local culture and connecting people.
  • Learn more about the location we are in, love your city and share it with our guests… where is the best market, closest transport stop, cinema, what’s your favorite thing to do in the city off the beaten track?  
  • Get involved, attend our social events, share your ideas….

Your profile
